ADVERTISING =
AMERICAN JOBS

DID YOU KNOW:
Advertising in the U.S. supports more than 20% of our nation’s economy and 29 million U.S. jobs.

The Jobs Multiplier
Of Advertising

Advertising is vital to businesses of all sizes, from neighborhood restaurants to the largest companies in the world. It’s also vital to the U.S. economy, because it’s an incredibly powerful lever of economic activity and job growth.

Businesses invest in advertising because advertising drives sales. As it drives sales, it also creates and supports jobs, not only for the company selling the advertised product or service but for all of that company’s downstream suppliers and business partners.

That virtuous advertising-driven cycle supports 20% of our nation’s economy and nearly one in five jobs in local communities across the U.S.
